1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using CodeThenShip (the “Service”), operated by PodApp LTD (trading as codethenship.com, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CodeThenShip provides online programming courses, educational content, community access, and related materials designed to help individuals build software products and pursue careers in technology.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, code templates, videos, graphics, and branding are the intellectual property of PodApp LTD. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own learning. You may not redistribute, resell, or share course materials without written permission.
Code you write during the course (your SaaS project) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your original work.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or redistribute course content or your account credentials.
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users or staff.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform or its content.
- Post misleading, defamatory, or illegal content in community spaces.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties regarding the completeness or reliability of course content. Results depend on individual effort and circumstances. Past student outcomes are not guarantees of your results outside of the Job Guarantee described in Section 6.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PodApp LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
